Lighthouse Marina History

Lighthouse Marina is now owned and operated by Stavros Lilimpakis. Stavros started working for Lighthouse Marina as a General Mechanic in February of 2001, specializing in stern drives and inboard diesel vessels. Less than five years later, Stavros was promoted to the position of Service Manager. As service manager he acted as a liaison between the owner and the rest of the mechanics while over seeing all mechanical repairs. Three years later he was promoted, managing all service related issues and managing all marina yard personnel. In 2012 Stavros became General Manager of the Marina. His responsibilities expanded to managing all marina personnel, including all mechanics, yard hands, detailing crew, parts department and sales personnel. 

As of April 2019, Stavros has now become Owner and President of Lighthouse Marina, Lighthouse Boat Rentals, and Lighthouse Yacht Sales. Stavros has assisted Lighthouse Marina to reach another level of service and reputation in the Marine Industry. You will find that Lighthouse Marina is one of the premier marinas on Long Island, providing a spotless facility with unparalleled service.

The family atmosphere at the marina has kept generations here for many years and keeps them coming back. Location

Lighthouse Marina is located on the Meetinghouse Creek which is off the Peconic Bay, your “Gateway for Boating on the East End”. Our strategic location on the North Fork of Long Island offers convenient boating access to Shinnecock, Sag Harbor, Shelter Island, Greenport and Montauk.  By car you will find yourself only 1.5 hours from NYC and only 5 miles east of Riverhead, more boating and less driving.

We are open year round and in season 7 days a week to assist you.
